Roof Bond

Overview

The RoofBond coating is a water-based compound composed of specialty polymers. Roof Bond is a white pigmented compound, designed to be used as a liquid-applied waterproofing membrane for outdoor applications, especially on building roofs. Dried films exhibit a low water absorbency and superior water repellency, as well as excellent weather resistance for exterior applications.

Coverage

Apply initial coating (first layer) diluted with 10 % water after proper mixing or can use Roof Bond Primer compound first. It is advised to apply a minimum dry thickness of 0.4 – 0.5 mm in two to three coats each with a total coverage of approx. 0.2 kg compound per m². The second coat is applied only when the first coat is touch dry: this is usually possible in 1 to 2 hours after applying the first coat.

Usage
  • Terrace, roofs & walls.
  • Old & new concrete surfaces.
  • For all external applications.
Advantages
  • Superior Weather Resistance: Roof Bond provides exceptional protection against even the harshest weather conditions, ensuring long-lasting performance.
  • UV Resilience: It offers complete UV resistance, safeguarding surfaces from the damaging effects of the sun’s rays and maintaining its effectiveness over time.
  • Strong Bonding: Roof Bond establishes a robust bond, enhancing its durability and reliability in various outdoor applications.
  • Versatile Application: Suitable for terraces, roofs, walls, and both old and new concrete surfaces, Roof Bond offers versatility in its usage.
  • Efficient Coating: With its efficient coverage, Roof Bond can be applied in two to three coats to achieve the desired protective thickness.
  • Water Repellency: Dried films of Roof Bond exhibit low water absorbency and superior water repellency, further enhancing its protective qualities.
